Information We Collect
We only collect what you give us. When you request a reservation, the form asks for your name, telephone number and email address, the date, time, party size and seating area you would like, the table you picked if you chose one, and any special requests you type in. If you tick the SMS consent box on that form, we also record that you consented and when.
We do not ask for payment details on this website, and we do not sell any of this information.
How We Use It
- To hold and confirm your reservation, and to send the confirmation to the email address you gave.
- To reach you by telephone, email or — only if you opted in — text message about that reservation.
- To keep our own records of bookings so we can plan the room and staffing.
SMS Terms & Privacy Policy
2682 LLC, doing business as The Speakeasy of Marco, operates the SMS text messaging program. By opting in, you consent to receive transactional and customer care text messages about your own reservation.
Information Sharing and Privacy: We value your privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Mobile information shared for SMS consent will not be shared, sold, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your opt-in data and consent for text messaging are strictly confidential and used solely by 2682 LLC (dba The Speakeasy of Marco) to communicate directly with you.
Opting In
Text messages are sent only to guests who ticked the consent box on our reservation form. The box is never ticked for you, and consent is not a condition of booking a table or of any purchase — if you leave it clear, your reservation is handled exactly the same way and we contact you by email or telephone instead.
Opting Out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to our number to opt out. After you send the SMS message STOP to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. Reply HELP for assistance, or call us at (239) 970-2929. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply; your mobile carrier's charges are between you and your carrier.
Third-Party Services
This website is hosted on Netlify and uses Google Fonts to load its typefaces and a third-party site seal, each of which receives your browser's request for those files. Reservation confirmations are delivered by our email provider. These providers handle your information only to provide those services to us. As stated above, no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and all the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
How Long We Keep It
Reservation records are kept for our own business records. If you opt out of text messages we keep a record that you did so, which is what stops us from texting you again.
Your Choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — call (239) 970-2929 or write to us at the address below. Deleting your details may mean we can no longer find an upcoming reservation, so please mention any booking you would like us to keep.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes To This Policy
If we change this policy we will post the revised version on this page and update the date at the top.
